World Sustainable Development Summit 2025: A Global Call to Action

The world is falling behind on sustainable development, with only 14% of the 169 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets on track, while 20% are not even being monitored. Alarmingly, 14% are regressing in critical areas such as hunger, education, employment, and the environment. The first global stocktake highlights the urgency, showing that to meet climate targets, emissions must drop by 43% by 2030, yet current national commitments only account for a 2% reduction.
To bridge the gap between ambition and action, the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2025 will be held from 5th to 7th March 2025 under the theme ‘Partnerships for Accelerating Sustainable Development and Climate Solutions’. The summit will bring together global leaders, policymakers, businesses, and changemakers to foster collaborations and drive impactful solutions. Taking place at [Insert Venue, City], WSDS 2025 will be a crucial platform to accelerate progress toward a more sustainable future.
